The business was founded by Ronnie Denholm, a seasoned professional with over 30 years experience in the payments and financial services industry, Having first qualified as a Chartered Accountant, Ronnie spent two decades working with American Express across the globe with leadership roles in Finance, Operations, New Products, Technology, Merchant Services, E-Commerce and Digital Payments.
The next 6 years were spent at Barclays where Ronnie transformed the corporation's point of sale lending business, managed the second charge lending portfolio and drove Barclaycard's digital online marketplace and digital consumer payments businesses. This was followed by a three-year term transforming Castle Trust Bank's point of sale business on behalf of the Bank's Private Equity owners, JC Flowers.
